  Four stacked and processed shots of Comet Lulin (a non periodic comet) make a unique image. The magnificent green colour is caused by gaseous diatomic carbon in its local atmosphere, which glows green when illuminated by sunlight in the vacuum of space.

• Arguably the most exciting image I have ever captured, and one which I can never repeat.
