The Lunar Appenine Mountains - (Montes Apenninus)
This rugged mountain range lies in the Moons northern hemisphere with the length of the range at 600 Klm. The large crater is Archimedes.
The height of several of the peaks rise to 5 kilometres !! A breathtaking sight in the eye piece.
